Sunday, May 22, 2005Macie's 1st Birthday Party![]() What a fantastic way to celebrate your birthday. It's just too bad that people don't remember their first birthdays. Macie just looked so adorable! Well, what's new! And she was a star in every way possible. The food was great. Aside from the real food there was Buy the Bucket, Big Chill, F.I.C., Corndog, and Krispy Krepe all under one roof. ![]() ![]() Another interesting thing: The whole family came in pink... but the winner for Best Strawberry Shortcake outfit was Kuya Ting Ting! - Caren * * * My super adorable niece celebrated her first birthday, but her real birthday is actually on May 26. It was a great party with a Strawberry Shortcake theme in Wack Wack. There were tons of balloons, the whole family was in pink, the food was great and the party was fun fun fun! ![]() It started with Gymboree for the kids ages 4 and below. There were game booths on the side for the bigger kids and a jumping castle. It was so cool cause you could go fishing and catch real fish. Then, during merienda, there was a magic show. It was galeng. Hahaha. I was amazed even though I know how some of the tricks are done. Eventually, there were games for the bigger kids. The best part of the party though was the food. Imagine this, eat all you can Buy the Bucket, Big Chill, FIC, Krispy Krepe, Corndogs, Cream Cheese Burgers, Spaghetti, Barbecue and Pizzanini. Wow!!! Incredible!!! - Bambie ![]() Saturday, May 07, 2005Sunny Avilon Zoo![]() ![]() After being on hiatus for a week, the Sunday Club resumed with a bang. This time, it was at Avilon Zoo in Montalban Rizal on the hottest day of the year... a stifling 42 degrees Celsius... in the company of Ate Boom, Kuya Dondi, Kuya Ronnie, Bam, Regina, and myself. Although the heat was horrible (imagine a rosy-cheeked Caren, an even rosier Ate Boom, and Regina the rosiest of them all), it was a very interesting two-hour walking tour. The ride going there was not very long. Just an hour without the traffic. Upon arrival, you pay an entrance and tour fee of P200, which motherly Ate Boom treated us all to. Since we arrived there at 12:00 we had lunch at their snack pavilion. You can buy food there (pretty reasonable prices for food that tastes ok) or opt to bring your own. The place is very clean, and so are the bathrooms. ![]() ![]() - Caren ![]() |
