Marikina Shoe Expo

One of those boring Sundays, Kuya Dondi, Kuya Wappy and I went to the Marikina Shoe Expo in Cubao. For plain locally made shoes, they are mighty expensive. What was nicer about that Sunday club though were the stores that sold either books or vintage stuff. We entered this one store that had old cameras and ads. They also had old phones, as in the ones you turn to dial. Then we entered a bookstore. It was very nice. Kuya Wap read Kuya Dondi and I a few poems.

For merienda, we had decadence in Bellini's, the Italian restaurant that can be found there. They also have very good food, mind you, but the dessert was great. The restaurant is very cozy, handpainted by the owner himself, Bellini. Duh!

Since Ate Caren was making kulit that she was home na, we went to pick her up and we went to Tiendesitas, which is right next to our village. We didn't do much except drink fresh fruit shakes and watch the dogs bark at each other, but it was really fun.
