Anna's Night of Jazz

Anna's real birthday is on August 22, but she celebrated her 18th birthday with the younger cousins and friends on the evening of August 19, Saturday.

It was a semi-formal event of jazz music, 1920s photos, comedic performances, and good food catered by Grams diner at the Palm Grove of Rockwell. And there, looking all dolled up and pretty was Anna in her birthday best.

It was interesting to watch the performances made by Anna's friends. It was also initially scary to perform for Anna, which became relaxing while Bam and I were singing up front, which got even better when people told us that our rendition of "You" was done very well. Phew! Para namang hindi kami nasanay na pinapakanta! Then Wappy did an impromptu of "The Way You Look Tonight". Idol!

There was only one sad thing in that debut... We (Kuya Dondon, Wappy, Bam, Crissy, JR, Toto, David, and I) were the "older" table amidst boys and girls 17 to 19 years of age. But that's ok! With age comes beauty and youth unwasted!

After the party, Kuya Dondon, Bam and I didn't want to go home just yet so we whiled the time away in Starbucks at Corinthian Hills with kwento all through the night.
