Sunday, October 15, 2006Old Girls' Day 2006Another Old Girls' Day has come and gone bringing back memories from the past. But there are things that remain a tradition, and that is the Velada of the year's jubilarians. This year, all were present to watch Tita Naña, the golden jubilarian. In line with the theme of the program - Assumption around the world - their class represented Assumption India. They all looked so cute and glam in their colorful chiffon costumes while they did a belly dancing number. Macie was most awestruck. She seemed to have thought that Ninang was an artista, and was so starstruck by her presence after the show. ![]() ![]() There's Tita Naña in yellow, right smacked in the middle. Plus a close-up on the big screen. (Click on images for larger view.) To cap it off, Tita Baby, Tita Azon, Ate Pebs, Regina and I were all in our school uniform so we all got our pictures taken at the lobby of the Mother Rose Auditorium.
Lola Naña was really great!! I also liked the Flameco dancing culture with a modern touch! I liked the theme it showed the places with Assumption around the world! I liked also the last two Lion King (Africa) and HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL!!!! - Regina ![]() |
